KiwiSport Holiday Programmes

The Press KiwiSport Holiday Programmes are a great way to keep the kids active in the holidays. Sport Canterbury run these programmes every April, July and September holiday at a number of venues around Canterbury.
The aim is to provide opportunities for children to have fun and learn the skills of a variety of KiwiSports in a safe and friendly environment.
By experiencing a variety of KiwiSports, children are able to identify different sports they enjoy playing, and have the opportunity to continue participating in these sports via other community programmes.
As well as KiwiSport Activities in the morning, those children that stay on for the full day programmes will particpate in some more passive activities that may include of site visits to such places as Orana Park, Antarctic Centre, Mini Golf.
